Arizona Coyotes earn spot in hockey playoffs

On April 14 the Coyotes beat Nashville 6-4 putting them in sixth place in the western conference.

The winning goal was scored in the third period by Teppo Numminem. The Coyotes played a good season struggling near the end to get a spot to the playoffs. Their hard work paid off and will be heading to San Jose to play the Sharks in their first game of the playoffs.

If the coyotes want to win the Stanley Cup then they will have to go up against one of the best teams in the NHL, the Detroit Red Wings. But first they must be strong and concentrate on beating the number three team in the conference the San Jose Sharks.

If you are interested in watching the four games against the Sharks the first game was Wednesday night and the second is Saturday afternoon in San Jose, then April 22 and the 24 in Arizona.
