The Arizona Renaissance Festival celebrates 29 years of medieval themed entertainment across a 30-acre park. The park is open Saturdays and Sundays through April 2 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
“I started coming to the Renaissance fair four years ago with my grandkids. Now I make it a point to get out here alone so I can look in all the shops more closely and just really enjoy myself,” said Jan Broch of Apache Junction.
The Renaissance Festival is open rain or shine and discount tickets are available at Fry’s. Savings can also be found at Wendy’s, Cobblestone Auto Spa, Hall of Frames, Pete’s Fish and Chips and Phoenix Flower Shops.
“We come every year. I could spend hours listening to the insults at the Vegetable Justice stand. Those guys are funny,” said Avery Eins, a festival-goer who tries to make it out every year.
Motorized scooters, wheelchairs, strollers and wagons are available for rent near the front gate to accommodate all persons. They are on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, contact RenFestInfo.com or call 520-463-2700.
